Can I install my own EV charger?
What kind of charging plugs do EV chargers accommodate?
Depending on your vehicle, EV chargers will come with the plug your car requires. Four plugs are currently available for EV chargers:
- Tesla (NACS)
- J1772
- Combined Charging System (CCS)
- CHAdeMO
Most car manufacturers are currently trying to implement the Tesla North American Charging Standard to become universally accepted on chargers throughout the nation. Regardless of this switch, First Call Jewel will help you determine which EV charger works for you and your vehicle.
