Tired of the noisy AC? New units take up less space, are quieter, and use much less power!
Smaller, Quieter, More Efficient, Air conditioners
Recently We decided to try out a new air conditioner to see if it was something we wanted to offer our customers. I removed my older high efficient heat pump and replaced it with a new much smaller air conditioner. Because of its smaller size, I was able to mount it to my wall. We took the time to re-do our raspberry and strawberry patch at the same time. With this change, We gained much more growing space!
As you can see, this unit is kind of dirty, its dark color causes it to show more dirt. Recently I was out weeding the strawberries in front of the AC. It was a chilly evening but was still warm inside. The AC kicked on and I was amazed once again at how quiet it runs!
This is a Lennox EL18 Heat Pump we installed for my neighbor. It is also very efficient and quiet! Notice this is resting on a pad instead of wall mount. Sometimes we end up getting some vibration noise into the home when the unit is mounted on the wall. Since there i a bedroom right behind this, we chose to not wall mount it.
I personally prefer the wall mount, and on my brick I do not have many issues with vibration.
Old TRANE XV20 heat pump
Our older TRANE variable speed heat pump has been a great unit. The new Midea variable speed air conditioner is much smaller, VERY quiet, and uses less electricity. I'm quite impressed with it. I had better control with the TRANE since it was a fully communicating unit, but I am super impressed with the comfort and quietness of the new Midea
